NEW DELHI: While an official announcement is still awaited from
Maruti Suzuki, most of the Nexa dealers have started taking pre-launch bookings for the 2018
Ciaz facelift.
The dealers are taking bookings for the new model for a token amount of Rs 11,000 which, according to the dealers, is fully refundable.
TOI had earlier reported that the launch of the
new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz has been delayed slightly and will now happen mid-August.
The dealers we enquired with also said that the tentative launch date for the new model is around August 15 and there is already a long waiting period on the car.

Ciaz in a Nexa video which officially revealed its front grille and new headlamps with underlining LED daytime running lights. Along with a new face, the model is also expected to get new tail lamps while the overall silhouette is likely to remain unchanged. The interior is also expected to get some minor updates including Suzuki's Smartplay infotainment system.

Expected to be priced between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 13 lakh, the new model will continue to rival the likes of the Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Volkswagen Vento and the Skoda Rapid.
