Kasganj police bust illegal arms factory, nab two

Agra: Kasganj police busted an illegal arms factory and recovered country-made pistols and rifle on Tuesday.
In a joint operation by SWAT and Patiyali police, a raid was conducted in the corn field of Bhargain village on Tuesday night, where a gang was running an illegal arms factory.
Police recovered nine pistols, one rifle, 11 semi-made pistols and four cartridges along with instruments used for making country-made pistols.They also managed to arrest two arms suppliers identified as Mahavir and Lal Mohammad, but four other associates of the gang identified as Munna, Dharmendar, Udaiver and Chotte Khan managed to flee.
Ashok Kumar, SP, Kasganj, said, “Our target is to shut down all illegals arms factories. The Patiyali and SWAT police team successfully busted the arms factory in Bhargain.”
On Sunday too Kasganj police arrested three men along with 27 weapons in Sidhpura police jurisdiction.
