“Let us celebrate the big day with a small donation of Rs 100. We all deserve this,” the mail added. This is not the first time that AAP’s outreach team has sought donation on an issue. In December last year, the outreach team had sought a donation of Rs 100 from its supporters after chief minister Arvind Kejriwal was not invited to the opening Magenta Line section of Botanical Garden to Kalkaji Mandir, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The email on Wednesday said that the Supreme Court has passed a verdict, which the LG is bound by the aid and advice of the council of ministers, and that the Delhi cabinet does not need the concurrence of LG on its decisions. The email also said that the LG should not act in a mechanical manner to refer every order of the government to the President, but only exceptional ones.

“Let us send our best wishes to Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, all AAP ministers and MLAs, and the volunteers who have struggled on ground all this time,” the mail read.
