BJP MLA seeks action against Bangladeshi and Rohingya Muslims in Ghaziabad

BJP MLA seeks action against Bangladeshi and Rohingya Muslims in Ghaziabad
GHAZIABAD: Loni MLA Nand Kishor Gujjar has written a letter to UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath seeking a special drive against over “one lakh Bangladeshi and Rohingya Muslims” living in various parts of Ghaziabad. He said the police should arrest and subsequently deport them to their respective countries as they pose a serious threat to the national security.
Gujjar’s letter has come at a time when a debate on the Assam’s National Register of Citizens (NRC) draft rages on in the country.

Stating that he helped the Loni police in nabbing terrorists and Rohingyas from the area in past, Gujjar claimed that the Bangladeshi migrants are involved in smuggling of arms, drugs and cows, besides committing crimes like dacoity, snatching, and contract killing.
In his letter, Gujjar listed the areas where the Bangladeshi and Rohingyas are purportedly living in a large number. “In Dhaulana area, they are living in Masuri and Adhyatmik Nagar, while in Kavi Nagar, they can found in Govindpuram and industrial area.”
In addition to this, they are living in various parts of Kotwali, Sahibabad, Indirapuram, Khoda, Link Road, Loni and Tronica City, he added.
“Over one lakh illegal immigrants are living next to the national capital thanks to the previous governments who not only issued them Aadhar card, ration card and voter’s card among others but also helped them in building their homes in various colonies,” the MLA said.
“It has become difficult to maintain law and order in the district. Their presence in so close proximity of Delhi poses a serious threat to the country,” he further added.
