Missing girls traced in Raibag

Two girl students of Amrita Vidyalayam, Belagavi, who were reported missing were traced near Raibag town on Thursday. Sharanya Malakannavar and Kavya Kundap, both aged 15 and class 9 students, had gone missing on Wednesday after their school hours. Their parents had filed a complaint in the Belagavi Rural police station after they did not return home till late in the night. Police sources said the girls are being brought back to Belagavi. Police said the girls were not saying why they went to Raibag. “The two girls are only crying whenever we ask them anything. They are scared and are not speaking much. We hope they will speak after they are reunited with their parents,” said police. tnn
