TRS rally: KCR buoys on statehood for poll vault
KCR did not appear as fiery as he usually is when he speaks at public meeting.
HYDERABAD: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao dropped a big hint saying that a committee headed by party secretary general K Keshava Rao would come up with the party's next election manifesto.
“It was speculated that I would also announce some more schemes but it would not be right on my part to announce those things as chief minister. I should not announce what I will not be able to implement right away,” the chief minister said.

KCR in another indication of early polls said the Mission Bhagiratha works will be completed very soon to provide drinking water to every household.
“Though technically we will have six more months for the next polls in April, we will complete the works before that six month period,” he said.
KCR, it may be mentioned, did not appear as fiery as he usually is when he speaks at public meetings. But he did say something that the crowd was appreciative of, as could be gauged from their response.
“Chesthava sasthava Narendra Modi?” KCR said he had strongly pursued with the Prime Minister to get the new zonal system for Telangana. Chesthava Sasathava in Telugu would mean, “Will you do it or die?”. However, the meaning in the usage in Telugu would mean that he (PM) has no option but to do it.

KCR was critical of the Congress for putting legal hurdles in the government schemes. “Do you want to be Delhi's ghulam (slave) or do you want to choose Telangana's ghulabi (meaning the TRS) in the next elections?” he asked the people.
KCR narrated the sequence of events in his struggle for a separate state for Telangana from the year 2000. “I have watched on television and seen on Facebook that people want the TRS to come back to power in the state,” he said.
He assured that the promise of getting water through irrigation projects for one crore acres of farm land will be kept. He explained that some of the projects were completed and some are midway. He said this and more employment opportunities will be created after the next elections. “I need your blessings,” KCR said in an appeal to the people.
