Will magical no. 6 help KCR wield the magic poll wand?
HYDERABAD: Will a decision on a poll date that ushers luck for Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao help him storm back to power? Obsessed with numerology, KCR is all likely to zero in the number 6 and decide on dissolving the Assembly before September 10 to announce first list of candidates. KCR dropped enough hints on Sunday that political decisions on polls will be taken soon.
Sources said the home ministry had agreed to be provide adequate security personnel if Election Commission of India asks for early polls.
A source in intelligence department said, “KCR is all likely to announce dissolution of the Assembly on September 6, his his lucky number. In his speech at Kongar Kalan, he gave enough indication he will soon announce a decision on polls. He also spoke about party manifesto committee to be formed soon in which new schemes are to be announced. With the dissolution of Assembly, he will be the interim CM,”
In June, 2014, KCR took oath as first chief minister of Telangana at 12.57 pm. The numbers add up to six. Usually, most meetings of KCR happen on the dates and timing that sum up to the lucky number. The vehicle numbers of KCR also have
six. Earlier, Wanaparthy MLA G Chinna Reddy of Congress, said in the Assembly, “KCR is so obsessed with the number that most decisions are linked to the number 6 and in one instance he visited Jahangir Pir Dargah in Mahabubnagar and offered 51 goats. The farmer’s coordination committees too have 15 members, district-level committees have 24 members. The state committee has 42 members. They all add up to six.”
Though reports that TDP and Congress are in talks for an alliance, sources in TDP said there is no decision yet.
TDP leader Payyavula Keshav told TOI, “There is no thought process in TDP on allying with Congress either in Andhra or Telangana at this point of time. There is no need for an alliance in Telangana.”
