Girl attacked by cow, escapes with injuries
Indore: Two cows went berserk and one of them injured a college girl on Wednesday in Bhagirathpura area of the city.
The victim, Urvashi, was on her way to home when she was knocked down by a cow nearby a shop in the area. The girl sustained injuries on her back and eye. She was taken to a nearby hospital.
Locals said that while IMC claims to have shifted all stray cattle from city limits, there are people who are still engaged in cattle rearing business.

The girl’s family also demanded for action against cattle owners. “Civic body should take strict action against cattle owners as they are still not ready to stop the practice,” said the girl’s mother.
IMC commissioner Asheesh Singh said that the girl has been provided medical assistance. “Appropriate action would be taken against those who are involved in cattle rearing business in the area,” he said.
