LUCKNOW: Assuring a student that Ram temple will definitely be constructed in Ayodhya, UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a man who can turn the impossible into possible.
Yogi was interacting with students at the ‘Bharat Ke Mann ki Baat’, organised by the party at the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), to seek views and aspirations of youths and include them in BJP’s poll manifesto.
When Anshika Gupta, an MTech student of IET, asked when would the Ram temple be constructed, Yogi said, “It is good that you asked a question which is associated with faith of millions of Hindus. Ram temple will surely be built,” and added, “ Namumkin ko mumkin banana hi Modi ka naaam hai... (PM Modi can turn the impossible into possible)”.
Yogi addressed students of various colleges across state via video conferencing. The event was telecast live on social media and screens in all 80 Lok Sabha constituencies.
When another student asked why all opposition parties were coming together against BJP, Yogi said that it was because they were scared of PM Modi who would return to power again. “The country requires a stable government, not an unstable one. The country will have to think. BJP has given a stable government,” Yogi said, and added, “It is an alliance of corruption. They (the opposition) are neglecting the interests of country. They are trying to polarise society and want to spread hatred and anarchy. But we will win under PM Modi’s leadership. There should not be doubt about it.”
When Jyoti, a BA student, asked why should the youth vote for BJP, Yogi said that it was the only party which recognized the energy of youth and came up with policies for generating employment. CM Yogi also distributed smartphones to over 500 lekhpals at another event at Lok Bhawan on Friday.
