The students of Dr APJ Kalam Technical University will get the privilege to learn extra, apart from their regular courses, and get trained in new skills from the new academic session.

LUCKNOW: The students of Dr APJ Kalam Technical University will get the privilege to learn extra, apart from their regular courses, and get trained in new skills from the new academic session. A training, placement and facilitation centre being set up in AKTU campus will provide in-house training in the most sought after software used in different engineering streams, trending
short term courses in global demand and an opportunity to learn from experts working in different industries.

Besides, a boys’ and girls’ hostel will also come up for post-graduation students in the new academic session as chief minister Yogi Adityanath laid the foundation stone of 21 projects on Friday.
“Along with developing a database, creating opportunities and inviting multinationals for placement, the training placement and facilitation centre at AKTU will enable engineering students to add extra skills to their CV. Besides ataining basic technical degree, the students will be trained in different aspects and skills for greater employability,” said AKTU spokesperson Asheesh Mishra.
