NMC, Green Vigil conduct energy conservation campaign

NAGPUR: Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Green Vigil Foundation conducted Pournima Diwas campaign aimed at energy conservation at Coffee House Square, Dharampeth, on Wednesday.
Green Vigil team members interacted with shopkeepers and residents on necessity and ways of energy conservation, energy crisis, adopting renewable sources of energy, shifting to energy efficient appliances, etc.
Members also appealed citizens to contribute for energy saving by putting off their non-essential lights and electronic gadgets for an hour from 8pm to 9pm.
