Rain in parts of Delhi-NCR; temperature goes down

Rain lashes several parts of Delhi-NCR on seventh consecutive day

NOIDA: Rains lashed parts of Delhi-NCR on Saturday evening bringing respite from the humidity and heat.
The downpour brought respite from the humidity while causing waterlogging in many areas.
Heavy showers were also reported in some parts of Gurugram.

MeT department had predicted light rains in several areas of the city yesterday.
The official had said the minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to settle at 26.6 degrees and 34.4 degrees Celsius respectively.

Strong thundershowers struck the capital, particularly parts of south-west Delhi on Friday with a number of flights delayed and diverted due to intense rain around the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI). over 100 flights had been delayed due to the rain.
