2 arrested for stealing e-goods worth 4 lakh

RAIPUR: Police have nabbed two thieves and recovered loot of stolen electronic goods and accessories worth lakhs from their possession which they had burgled from an office-cum-warehouse of an electronics company in Devendra Nagar few days ago.
According to police, on the night of January, two thieves had stolen several electronic goods and computer bags worth about Rs4 lakh from the office-cum-warehouse of M/s Super Torrent Electronics.

A complaint was filed by the company’s area manager Alok Kumar Sinha following which police registered a case under section 457, 380, 34 of the IPC against unidentified burglars.
Once investigation began, police received a tip-off regarding a youth trying to sell a computer monitor in city’s Pandri area. A patrolling party immediately went to the spot and nabbed the suspect who identified himself as Chandra Prakash Baghel, a resident of Shakti Nagar.
On being asked about the monitor he was trying to sell, Baghel immediately confessed of having stolen electronics goods from Devendra Nagar along with his friend Niranjan Tandi. Further investigation is underway.
