Julia Roberts joins Instagram

Almost all the celebs have made a niche for themselves on Instagram and it's now actress Julia Roberts’ turn. She joined the photo sharing app a few days ago and shared her first post as soon as she did so.
The picture shows the ‘Pretty Woman’ and ‘My Best Friend's Wedding’ star sitting on the grass dressed in a graphic sweater with the letters ‘Love’. She also wore denim shorts, showed off her beautiful wavy locks and, of course, her famous smile.The actress captioned the photo, ‘Hello’.
Julia got more than 107,000 followers within 24 hours of joining the app. And no, she isn’t following anyone just yet. In fact, this is said to be the first public account for the star who is social media shy (she isn’t on Facebook or Twitter). She has also been private throughout her career even during the huge hits she starred in during the '90s and 2000s. She did not make any comment on why she decided to join the app. Earlier, in an interview she told a magazine that she did not have an Instagram because as she prefers to unplug and spend time with her family post work hours.
The actress who also starred in ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ is married to cameraman Daniel Moder and they have three kids - Hazel, Phinneas and Henry. She is slated to come back to the big screen in the upcoming drama ‘Ben is Back’.
