The poster boy of Hollywood, Oscar winner and an influential environmental activist, Leonardo DiCaprio, has shared the news of Kerala floods on his official Twitter handle.
The actor retweeted the news of Kerala floods on his Twitter handle. DiCaprio, who has been an active proponent of environmental issues has formed Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation to spread awareness and to coordinate on international projects on issues of climate change.
With an estimated economic loss of more than Rs 20,000 crore, and a massive rehabilitation process underway, the world-renowned actor's acknowledgment of Kerala's situation could give the state a much needed international attention for the rebuilding process.
