After the

Section 377 of the IPC and decriminalized
homosexuality, hotelier
Keshav Suri – one of the petitioners – celebrated the win at his hotel
The Lalit, with a cake-cutting ceremony and hoisting of the pride flag on the hotel terrace. Suri and other LGBTQ activists were welcomed at the hotel with a
flash mob performed by the staff of the hotel. Author and mythologist Devdutt Patnaik, who was also present at the occasion, said, “Those who are spiritually high will always be more loving and caring than those who are not.
This is why they are more accepting. This verdict will pave the way for societal acceptance as well.”
Suri, who married his partner and French national Cyril Feuillebois earlier this year, addressed a press conference, along with his lawyer Neha Nagpal, Monish Malhotra, organizer of the Delhi

Today, the community and everybody else in the country deserves to enjoy and celebrate this win. But, the greater fight for full equality shall continue,” said Suri.
