Rajinikanth off to Lucknow for his next

Following the success of ‘Kaala’, superstar Rajinikanth teamed up with filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj for an upcoming yet-untitled flick, which is popularly known as ‘Thalaivar 165’ among fans.
According to recent reports, Rajinikanth has reportedly left to Lucknow to shoot the remaining portions of the film. Prior to this, the team shot some important scenes in Dehradun and Chennai.In fact, the makers have also planned a key schedule in Madurai.
After wrapping up the final schedule, Karthik Subbaraj is expected to announce the details regarding the first look and title. To be made on a massive scale, the film stars Vijay Sethupathi as the prime antagonist.
Touted to be an action drama, the yet-untitled film boasts of names such as Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Simran, Trisha Krishnan, Bobby Simha, Sanath Reddy, Guru Somasundaram and Megha Akash in prominent roles.
Music composer Anirudh Ravichander has landed an opportunity to compose for ‘Thalaivar’ in this film. If reports are to go by, Karthik Subbaraj is expected to wrap up the shoot by this year. The much-awaited project is likely to release sometime in 2019.
