Rajinikanth-starrer ‘2.0’ teaser to release on August 15?

Superstar Rajinikanth-starrer ‘2.0’ is arguably one of the most anticipated Indian films ever. After being postponed twice, the makers have finally locked the release date, which would be hitting the screens on November 29 this year.
Now, the buzz is that the makers are planning to release the much-awaited teaser of ‘2.0’ on Independence Day on August 15.The films sound designer Resul Pookutty hinted the teaser release date on his social networking page. However, we await an official confirmation regarding the same. Made on a whopping budget of Rs 500 crore, ‘2.0’ has been in the production for over two years now.

Touted to be the costliest film in Asia, ‘2.0’ is a sequel to the blockbuster Tamil film ‘Enthiran’, which released back in 2010. The sequel will see Rajinikanth returning as the Andro-Humanoid Chitti: The Robot. Bollywood star Akshay Kumar will reportedly be seen as the prime antagonist in the film, which also has Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain in pivotal roles.
Directed by Shankar, the makers hosted a grand audio launch in Dubai last November. The film has music by AR Rahman and the songs have became a huge hit among music lovers.
