'Uriyadi 2' rolls out from today

Acclaimed-political thriller Uriyadi will have a sequel, which will be produced by actor Suriya’s production company. Vijay Kumar, who directed and played the lead in Uriyadi, will be directing and acting in the sequel as well.
Giving us more details, co-producer Rajasekar Pandian says, “We look for subjects that are both entertaining and carry a social message.We were having a discussion with Vijay and he mentioned that he had a sequel in mind. The sequel will carry a strong social message, just like the first part,” he says, adding, “Vijay plays the lead, Kerala-based Vismaya will make her debut in Kollywood with this project. Madras Central fame Sudhakar will also be seen in an important role. 96 fame music composer Govind Vasantha will be scoring music for the project. We will begin shooting for the film in Thenkasi from today.”
