The Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET) is an entrance exam that is held every year to recruit teachers for government school in Rajasthan. The exam is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BRSE).

The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan concluded the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET) 2017-18 Examination on February 11, 2018. The final answer keys for the examination was released in the month of March 2018. The result of the examination is expected to be released in the month of April 2018.
Notification
The Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test 2017-18 notification was released in the month of October 2017 in the newspaper and on the official website of the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan.
Application
The links to fill online application forms for the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test 2017-18 was made active on November 6, 2017, till November 30, 2017.
Admit Card:
The admit card for the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test 2017-18 was released on the official website of the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education February 1, 2018.

Eligibility
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education conducts Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test in two levels
Eligibility for Level 1: Primary Teacher
* A candidate should have Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) certificate with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education/or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
* A candidate should be Graduate and passed or appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
Eligibility for Level 2: Upper Primary Teacher
* A candidate should be Graduate and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
* A candidate should have Graduation certificate with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)
* A candidate should have Graduation certificate with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard
* A candidate should have Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) certificate with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
* A candidate should have Graduation certification with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)

Primary Level (Paper - I)
* Child development & Pedagogy - 30 questions - 30 marks
* Mathematics - 30 questions - 30 marks
* Language I - 30 questions - 30 marks
* Language II - 30 questions - 30 marks
* Environmental Studies - 30 questions - 30 marks
Upper Primary Level (Paper - II)
* Child development & Pedagogy - 30 questions - 30 marks
* Language - 1 (Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Gujarati, Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi) - 30 questions - 30 marks
* Language - 2 (Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Gujarati, Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi) - 30 questions - 30 marks
* Science & Mathematics OR Social Science - 30 questions - 30 marks
