Startups awarded at Accelerate Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Two startups - Our Foods Private Limited and Bulbul Apps were awarded entrepreneur of the year and creative entrepreneur of the year awards at the Accelerate Hyderabad.
At the programme, which was organized to celebrate the 3rd year of The Entrepreneur Zone (TEZ) at University of Hyderabad, certificates have been awarded to a total of 12 startups, of which a startup named 'I Project' was given a special award.
While Our Foods and Bulbul Apps were awarded by the Telangana Government, I project was awarded by Novartis/ Indian Institutes of Information Technology Hyderabad and was also presented with a cash price of Rs 5 lakh, apart from an opportunity to incubate at T-Hub.
The 6th Cohort of Startups, who have undergone the Training Program in Startup Management, has been awarded certificated on Saturday. TEZ has been nurturing entrepreneurship through its 6-month program in Startup Management since July 2015. It is presently running its 7th batch and so far, it has launched about 31 startups.
