Digvijaya says hike in fuel prices will cost Modi heavy In Lok Sabha polls
AGRA: Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on Wednesday slammed the Modi government for the spiralling prices of fuel and essential commodities, besides the falling rupee, and said that the BJP would have to pay a heavy price for it in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
While speaking to media in Vrindavan, Digvijaya said, “public is quiet at present but their anger will reflect in upcoming polls for sure.” He said the NDA government had totally failed in controlling the price rise.

Commenting on the ongoing agitations by upper castes against the amendment in the SC/ST act, Singh said that people should ask the BJP about the amendment, as the party had promised it in every election to end the SC/ST act, if voted to power. He said, “punish them if they have cheated you.”
