Asian Games 2018: India's medal winners on Day 11

The Indian mixed doubles tennis pair of Achanta Sharath Kamal and Manika Batra brought India's first doubles medal at the Asian Games in the sport as they had to contend with bronze after suffering the defeat at the hands of Chuqin Wang and Yingsha Sun of China in the semifinals.

Swapna Barman created history by becoming the first Indian heptathlete to win an Asian Games. The 21-year-old Barman logged 6026 points from the seven events competed for two days.
Arpinder Singh gave India their fourth gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games by winning the men's triple jump final with his best effort of 16.77m.

Dutee Chand, who won a silver in women's 100m dash, ran her way to clinch the silver in the 200m with timing of 23.20 seconds. She stormed into the final by winning the semifinal in personal best time of 23:00 seconds, which was faster than her qualification round timing.

They had to contend with bronze after suffering 9-11, 5-11, 13-11, 4-11, 8-11 defeat at the hands of Chuqin Wang and Yingsha Sun of China in the semifinals.
Sharath-Manika defeated the North Korean pair of An Ji Song and Cha Hyo Sim 3-2 (4-11, 12-10, 6-11, 11-6, 11-8) in 38 minutes in the quarterfinals to assure themselves of a historic medal.
Another Indian pair, Anthony Amalraj and Madhurika Patkar, lost 1-3 (11-6, 7-11, 5-11, 4-11) to Hong Kong's Ho Kwan Kit and Lee Ho Ching in the pre-quarter-finals.
