Popular TV serial ‘Krishnakoli’ to feature a new twist

‘Krishnakoli’ is one of the popular and consistently performing daily soaps of Bengali TV. Now the television serial is all set to spice up its upcoming episodes with new twists.
Actor Neel Bhattacharya is playing the character Nikhil in the show, while, debutant Tiyasha Roy (Shyama) is playing the female lead.
Following the storyline, village belle Shyama, who is an excellent singer, had to face a lot of discrimination due to her dark skin tone.Incidentally, she gets married to rich and handsome Nikhil but other than her father-in-law, no one is happy with the marriage. Shyama’s sister-in-law Disha (played by Rimjhim Mitra) tried to frame Shyama in a robbery case but Nikhil saves her. Rukmini too was involved with Disha in this case.
The moment the couple tries to resolve their differences, the man, who is responsible for Shyama’s accidental marriage, tries to create issues in her married life yet again.
Tishaya has already wooed the audience with her deft performance and innocence. The television serial gained instant popularity due to the strong cast, simple storytelling and Keertans as well.
