Actor and television presenter
Gaurav Kapur was spotted coming out of the Jaipur airport, looking for actress-host
Shibani Dandekar on Saturday. He was carrying a placard saying, “Ms Shibani, Miss Field,” and appeared to be looking for Shibani. “I can’t find Shibani. Where is she? Have you seen her?” he asked. When we approached Gaurav, he cleared the confusion for us. “Well, it was all part of the finale episode of Miss Field which we shot in Jaipur on Saturday with actress and
Yuvraj Singh’s wife
Hazel Keech.
The show explores the life of wives of cricketers and is hosted by Shibani. But for the finale episode, which features Hazel, Shibani will not be there as she is currently in Los Angeles. Since we were short on time, I stepped into her shoes and the episode starts with me holding a placard at the Jaipur airport, looking for Shibani.”

So what made him select Jaipur as the location for the finale episode (he’s also the producer of the show)? “I love coming to Jaipur. Additionally, Hazel was coming to Jaipur to attend an event. So we thought of coming to the Pink City and shooting for the show. Jaipur has beautiful locations and I thought that it would make our episode look visually better,” he said.

Gaurav, who has been to Jaipur multiple times, also spoke about his love for the city and laal maas, in particular. “I won’t talk about what I like about Jaipur. I should rather talk about what I don’t like about Jaipur! It is my irresistible temptation to gorge on laal maas every time I come to this city. I was ordering food at the hotel where I was putting up, and no matter how much I tried to not order laal maas, I eventually ended up ordering it. It’s drool-worthy but difficult to digest. But as they say, it’s a sin to leave Jaipur without having laal maas,” he remarked.
