Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai written update, September 11, 2018: Naira and Kartik celebrate Teej together

The episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Kartik getting locked up in the cupboard by Devyani who says that the wardrobe is usually kept locked.
She walks away. Naira panics and asks Kartik to stay calm while she finds the keys. Naira rushes down and asks Devyani to give her the keys.
She says that she has an important document in the cupboard. Devyani refuses initially but later agrees to give the key.Manish walks into Kartik's room and does not find him there.
He checks the CCTV footage and finds Kartik jumping over the wall and understands that Kartik had not been in his room the entire night. Naira opens the cupboard and Kartik falls into her arms.
They have a cozy moment. Later, Naira asks Kartik to go. She says that they have to convince the family into approving their love. Kartik returns home to find Manish standing there with questions for him.
Manish questions Kartik over meeting Naira. Kartik is worried about how to convince Swarna even if Manish does not side with him. Naira decides to speak to Swarna first.
She sees the women preparing for Teej and wants to observe the fast too. Kartik and Naira meet at the temple to talk to Swarna. Swarna is praying for Kartik's safety. Kartik finds a visually challenged man and offers him help.
Swarna turns and slips. Naira holds the holy coconut from falling down. Swarna starts yelling at her. Kartik watches the two and later calms Naira. He adds that they will not give up.
Swarna prays that Naira and Kartik should never unite. Kartik and Naira perform for Teej. Next morning, Naira prepares for her fast and sees Kartik at her window. They both talk about the fast and have their meal for the day together. Naksh and Naitik smell the food odor as they walk by Naira's room.
