I thoroughly enjoy hosting sports events: Sahithya

After making a name for herself in modelling and even starring in a few films, Sahithya Jagannathan is now trying her hands at hosting sports events. She has already completed hosting this year's Pro Kabaddi League and the India-Australia series, which concluded last month, for Star Sports. Now, what's next for her is the Indian Super League (ISL).
Ask her how she's enjoying her new responsibilities as a TV host for different sports events.She replies, “This is quite different from modelling. In modelling, more often than not, you're communicating only visually. There's no verbal aspect in modelling. But for someone who's a chatter box in real life, that's a lot more challenging (laughing). So, I really enjoy hosting sports events - it's very engaging, I've to understand the sport well, I must anticipate and analyse how the game progresses, etc."
As she continues talking to us, she says that growing up as a tomboy, playing different sports, she enjoys this phase of her career so much. "While I was much younger, I used to play basketball, badminton, etc. From that I went into a phase of makeup, pretty dresses and modelling. I continue to love that part of my career as well. At the same time, hosting sports events is also exciting. Next is ISL. Though I am new to the sport, my football-crazy friends are there to feed me with whatever I need to know about it.
